In the latest promo of Kaun Banega Crorepati 16, comedian Samay Raina had the honor of sharing the stage with Bollywood legend Amitabh Bachchan, where he managed to make the superstar laugh like never before in 25 years of hosting the show. Samay, along with fellow comedians Tanmay Bhatt and Bhuvan Bam, is set to grace the upcoming episode of the reality quiz show, bringing in their usual dose of humor and wit.
The promo shows Samay, known for his impeccable comic timing, requesting Bachchan to recite one of his iconic dialogues from Shahenshah. After the superstar quotes, “Rishte mein toh hum tumhare baap lagte hain, naam hai Shahenshah,” Samay, in his typical playful style, jokes, “Aapne beta bana hi diya hai toh property mein thoda hissa? (If you’ve made me your son, how about a share in your property?)” The lighthearted moment had everyone in splits, with Bachchan responding warmly, “Mujhe 25 saal ho gaye, itna hum kabhi nahi hase jitna aaj hase hain (I have been hosting this show for 25 years, and I have never laughed as much as I did today).”
Samay didn’t stop at that—he shared an amusing story about his attempt to sneak into Amitabh’s iconic Juhu residence, Jalsa. The comedian humorously recalled being chased away by security, claiming that not only did the guards give him a hard time, but they also took his grandmother into account. Samay’s hilarious storytelling continued as he expressed his disbelief at sitting with a legend like Amitabh Bachchan, saying, “Mujhe believe nahi ho raha sir, aapko humare saath baithna pad raha hai (I can’t believe you have to sit with us).”
Fans were quick to react to the promo, flooding the comment section with excitement. One fan commented, “The crossover we didn’t know we needed,” while another said, “This is crazy!” and someone else wrote, “This is going to be fun!” Clearly, viewers are eager to see the comedy trio in action alongside Bachchan.
