A woman from Andhra Pradesh was left horrified after receiving a decomposing dead body in a parcel, along with a threatening letter demanding ₹1.3 crore. The shocking incident occurred in the West Godavari district.

The woman, identified as Naga Tulsi, had been building a house on a government-allotted site and had approached the Kshatriya Seva Samithi for financial help. After receiving tiles for her house from the Samithi, Tulsi had again requested electrical appliances, including lights, fans, and switches. She was informed via a WhatsApp message that the items would be delivered to her.

However, on Thursday night, Tulsi was handed a package by a delivery person, claiming it contained the promised appliances. To her horror, upon opening the parcel, she discovered the decomposing body of an unidentified man along with a letter that demanded ₹1.3 crore, warning of severe consequences if the demand was not met. It remains unclear whether the letter was directed at Tulsi or her family members.

Panic spread through Tulsi’s household, and the police were immediately notified. West Godavari district SP Nayeem Asmi visited the scene to investigate the disturbing discovery. The body was sent to a government hospital for an autopsy, with preliminary findings suggesting the man had died around four to five days prior.

Authorities have launched a probe into the identity of the deceased, the cause of death, and how the body ended up in the parcel. The Kshatriya Seva Samithi representatives have also been summoned by the police for questioning as part of the investigation.
