A violent attack in the northern region of the Central African Republic (CAR) on Tuesday left nine people dead and more than 700 homes destroyed. Local officials confirmed the tragic incident, which sent shockwaves through the village of Nzoroh.

Russia-backed Wagner mercenaries have played a significant role in the conflict, pledging to combat rebel groups and restore peace. However, these forces have faced accusations of human rights violations, further complicating the situation. Critics argue that they serve the interests of the military government of President Faustin-Archange Touadéra, who has been in power since 2016.
