“Navratri is a Spiritual and Musical Celebration for Us,” Says Arohi Kothari of V4 Once More Band

Rajkot : Arohi Kothari, a key member of the popular V4 Once More band, is all set to light up the stage during Navratri festivities this year. The band, co-founded by Ekta Purecha, Kaushal Purecha, Tejas Kothari, and Arohi herself, will be performing live in Rajkot for the second consecutive year. The group has spent months in preparation for their 10-day performance schedule, eagerly anticipating the festival that holds special meaning for them.

“Navratri is a time of immense joy and spiritual significance for us. Although we are usually on stage and don’t get the chance to play Garba ourselves, we still perform traditional steps during our shows. The atmosphere of Navratri is unlike anything else; it fills us with happiness and positive energy,” Arohi shared, reflecting on the festival’s importance.

The band’s Navratri performances are more than just a professional commitment. For Arohi and her bandmates, it’s a cherished annual event, steeped in tradition and family rituals. “We’ve been preparing for months to perform during these 10 days. There’s also a special ritual where we bring Garba home, perform Mataji’s aarti, and sing five Garba songs. On Dussehra, we celebrate Nivedh jaman, where the whole family cooks and eats together as part of the prasad,” she explained.

Performing in Gujarat, the heart of Navratri celebrations, holds a special place in Arohi’s heart. “We’ve performed across the globe, but Gujarat truly owns Navratri. It’s an extraordinary experience—late nights, vibrant clothes, and the sound of Garba music filling the air. There’s nothing like it,” she said with excitement.

For the V4 Once More band, performing live is also about building a unique connection with the audience. “What makes performing during Navratri so special is the audience’s energy. Seeing them dance, smile, and sing along with us fills our hearts with joy. Their reactions make every moment on stage worthwhile,” Arohi concluded.

The band’s live performance during Navratri promises to be a vibrant celebration of music, culture, and tradition, as they bring their passion to the stage and share it with the people of Rajkot.

In the latest comedic twist from Binaiferr and Sanjay Kohli’s Bhabhiji Ghar Par Hai, Anita and Angoori’s attempts to discipline  Vibhuti and Tiwari, take a turn for the hilarious. Produced under the Edit II banner, the show continues its reign as one of Indian television’s top comedy series, recently completing nine successful years on-air.

Starring Aasif Sheikh, Rohitashv Gour, Vidisha Srivastava, and Shubhangi Atre in lead roles, Bhabhiji Ghar Par Hai airs on TV and never fails to deliver a perfect blend of laughter, satire, and drama. Here’s what to expect this week:

The Plot Thickens: “Chamdi Udhedu” on the Loose!
The city is abuzz with news of a mysterious figure, “Chamdi Udhedu,” who has been terrorizing men out on the streets at night. No man is safe—whether found loitering outside a hotel or sleeping in a dharamshala, every male outside after dark faces the wrath of this unknown vigilante.

Meanwhile, at the Mishra household, Anita has had enough of Vibhuti’s careless attitude and unpaid debts. Frustrated, she shows her stern side, kicking both Vibhuti and his uncle, Chacha, out of the house for the night. It’s the same night that Chamdi Udhedu strikes again, leaving both men beaten and regretful by morning.

Angoori Joins the Fun
On the other side of town, Angoori, who always obediently listens to Tiwari, decides to turn the tables after a conversation with Anita and Amma. Tiwari, accustomed to scolding Angoori for trivial reasons, is left bewildered when she starts showing her angry side. Stressed and confused, Tiwari joins Vibhuti and Chacha in their collective misery.

The Great Escape—and a Twist
Fed up with their wives’ newfound strictness, Vibhuti, Tiwari, and Chacha hatch a plan. The trio sneaks out of their homes under the cover of darkness, seeking solace at the local undergarment shop, which doubles as a secret drinking spot. However, their night out doesn’t go as planned, and their troubles are far from over.

In a surprising twist, the mysterious “Chamdi Udhedu” turns herself in to the police. The vigilante, it turns out, wasn’t a man but a woman who was angry with her own husband and decided to take out her frustrations on all men in the city. After realizing that things had spiraled out of control, she surrendered.

A Lesson Learned—With Laughter
With the mystery solved, Anita and Angoori reflect on their own actions and realize that being overly strict might not be the best way to handle their husbands. They apologize, and everyone makes peace. In true Bhabhiji Ghar Par Hai fashion, all misunderstandings are resolved with humor, and the characters return to their happy, albeit comically chaotic, lives.

Tune in to Bhabhiji Ghar Par Hai this week for a laughter-filled episode as the characters learn that sometimes, life’s lessons come with a funny twist!

BRICS Nations Can Unlock Enormous Potential for Energy Security Cooperation: South African Minister

South African Energy Minister Dr Kgosientsho Ramokgopa emphasized the vast opportunities for BRICS nations to collaborate on energy security during the 9th BRICS Energy Ministerial Meeting held in Moscow. Speaking at the event, Ramokgopa highlighted the shared interests of BRICS countries—Brazil, Russia, India, China, and South Africa—in developing sustainable energy strategies while ensuring economic growth and stability.

The minister expressed confidence in the potential of BRICS countries to collectively address the energy challenges each member faces. “We believe this BRICS group of like-minded members has a huge potential to work together, strengthening our resolve through cooperation on energy security,” Ramokgopa stated. He noted that this collaboration could help resolve key issues discussed at the 2023 BRICS Summit in South Africa, particularly the absence of an integrated energy policy framework across member nations.

Ramokgopa stressed that energy cooperation among BRICS nations is crucial at this “critical phase,” as all countries are grappling with the difficult task of balancing economic development goals with the necessary transition to cleaner energy sources. The ongoing global energy transition poses significant challenges, such as shifting from fossil fuels to renewable sources, all while meeting growing energy demands and maintaining energy security.

The minister also highlighted the importance of innovation and investment in clean energy technologies, emphasizing that cooperation in these areas could lead to better integration of sustainable practices across BRICS nations. According to Ramokgopa, BRICS members can jointly work on energy policies that support growth while meeting global environmental commitments.

This ministerial meeting underscored the need for BRICS to come together and explore mutual benefits in areas such as renewable energy, energy efficiency, and infrastructure development, setting the stage for future collaborations that could reshape the global energy landscape.

Rahul Gandhi Accuses BJP and RSS of Undermining Constitution at Nuh Rally

Nuh : At a rally in Nuh, Haryana, Congress leader and Lok Sabha Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi launched a fierce critique against the BJP and its ideological ally, the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), accusing them of destroying India’s Constitution. Speaking on Thursday, Gandhi alleged that the BJP is fostering division and hate across the country, while the Congress is working to unite the nation through love and inclusivity.

Highlighting the Bharat Jodo Yatra, Gandhi stated, “From Kashmir to Kanyakumari, wherever the BJP opened a ‘market of hate’, we opened a ‘shop of love’. The fight is between two ideologies—one that seeks to tear the Constitution apart and another that stands for protecting it.” He reiterated that the Congress party’s mission is to spread harmony, countering what he claims is the BJP’s strategy of promoting hatred and disunity.

Gandhi also addressed the economic concerns plaguing the state of Haryana. He accused Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s government of prioritizing the interests of billionaires over the common people. According to Gandhi, while loans for the wealthy are being waived off, struggling farmers and ordinary citizens are left in the lurch. “Young people from Haryana I met in the U.S. told me they left the country because of unemployment. They were forced to take loans to pursue opportunities abroad, as they couldn’t find jobs here,” he said, blaming the BJP-led government for Haryana’s high unemployment rate.

In a pointed attack on smaller political parties contesting in the upcoming Haryana elections, Gandhi claimed these parties were merely extensions of the BJP, referring to them as the “A, B, C, and D teams” of the ruling party. Urging voters to rally behind the Congress, he warned them not to be misled by parties pretending to be independent but actually serving the BJP’s agenda.

Haryana will go to the polls on October 5, and the results will be announced on October 8. Gandhi’s fiery rhetoric at the Nuh rally has set the tone for a high-stakes battle as the Congress seeks to unseat the BJP in the state.
