MUMBAI: On Saturday, January 4, 2025, Tata Trusts Chairman Noel Tata met with Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis at the chief minister’s official residence in South Mumbai. The meeting focused on potential collaborations between Tata Trusts and the Maharashtra government to accelerate the state’s economic growth.
Chief Minister Fadnavis shared details of the meeting on social media, stating, “We discussed various projects where Tata Trusts and the Government of Maharashtra can collaborate to accelerate our state’s growth.” He expressed gratitude towards Noel Tata for his commitment to fostering a strong and enduring partnership between Tata Trusts and the state government.
Noel Tata assumed the role of Chairman of Tata Trusts in October 2024, following the passing of his half-brother, Ratan Tata, on October 9, 2024. Tata Trusts holds a 66% stake in Tata Sons, the holding company of the diversified Tata Group.
