In a significant cultural event, the iconic Indo-Japanese animated film, Ramayana: The Legend of Prince Rama, was screened at the ongoing Maha Kumbh Mela in Prayagraj on January 22, 2025. This special presentation aimed to introduce the timeless tale to a new generation, showcasing the film’s recent 4K restoration.

The screening took place at Divya Prem Seva Shivir in Sector 6, near Netra Kumbh, commencing at 10 a.m. Schoolchildren and devotees were invited to experience this adaptation of Valmiki’s Ramayana, highlighting the film’s cross-cultural significance.
