Samay Raina Pulls ‘India’s Got Latent’ Videos Amid Controversy:  Comedian Samay Raina has removed all episodes of his YouTube show, “India’s Got Latent,” following a controversy involving Ranveer Allahbadia. Raina announced his decision on X (formerly Twitter), stating the situation had become overwhelming. “Everything that is happening has been too much for me to handle. I have removed all India’s Got Latent videos from my channel,” Raina wrote. He emphasized his original intent was simply to make people laugh.

“Everything that is happening has been too much for me to handle. I have removed all Indias Got Latent videos from my channel. My only objective was to make people laugh and have a good time. I will fully cooperate with all agencies to ensure their inquiries are concluded fairly. Thank you.”

The Audience had mixed reactions on his post: One User commented saying: “There should be strict action taken against Samay Raina, Ranveer Allahbadia, and Apoorva Mukhija, as they are against our culture and values. Their YouTube and social media accounts should be suspended, and India’s Got Talent should be closed.”

Another Commented Saying: “We are very sorry Samay, freedom of speech doesn’t exist in our country.”

Another Supported him Saying: “I stand by you. I know I will be trolled for this. But the thing has been taken too far. Your was paid content and nothing so wrong compared to Pornography available free. The show name was #indiasgotlatent and was obvious. Feeling bad about where our country is going banning and forcing to remove content. If you don’t like don’t watch it. Why this outrage?”

The move comes after Allahbadia faced backlash for a controversial comment made on the show, which led to legal complaints and police investigations. Mumbai Police have reportedly issued summons to both Allahbadia and Raina. The cyber police have registered a First Information Report and asked for the show’s episodes to be taken down from social media platforms.

Raina pledged his full cooperation with investigating agencies. Despite the removal from Raina’s channel, videos are still available on the show’s Instagram page.

In response to Raina’s announcement, reactions from netizens have been mixed. Some defended Raina, asserting he did nothing wrong, while others acknowledged the gravity of the situation. Despite the removal of videos from Raina’s YouTube channel, content may still be available on the show’s official Instagram page. B Praak cancelled an appearance on BeerBiceps podcast amid the row.
