The Need for the Sanatan Board

“Our dharma is not free,” he stated. “The Sanatan Board is essential to advancing our cause, and we will not leave the Kumbh without achieving this goal.”

Unified Support from Religious Leaders

Prominent leaders from various akhadas and religious institutions have lent their support to the initiative:

  • Swami Premanand Puri, Mahamandaleshwar of the Niranjani Akhara, argued that preserving India’s integrity necessitates the Board’s establishment, dismissing claims that Ganga’s land belongs to other religious boards.
  • Swami Balankanananda Giri Maharaj, Peethadhishwar of Anand Akhara, declared, “Where there is faith, there is Sanatan. It is the foundation of our existence.”

The Upcoming Dharma Sabha

The Dharma Sabha will be a landmark event, bringing together:

  • Delegates from the four Shankaracharyas
  • Key individuals associated with Sanatan Dharma

Akhil Bharatiya Akhada Parishad President Mahant Ravindra Puri confirmed that the draft constitution of the Sanatan Board will be finalized and formally unveiled in the presence of all religious leaders during the Sabha.

Significance of the Sanatan Board

The Sanatan Board aims to:

  1. Liberate temples from government control.
  2. Revive traditional education systems like gurukuls.
  3. Ensure proper care for stray cows.
  4. Strengthen the cultural and spiritual framework of Sanatan Dharma globally.
