In a tragic incident on Saturday morning, six workers lost their lives following an explosion at a firecracker manufacturing unit in Appaiyanaickenpatti village, Sattur taluk, Virudhunagar district, Tamil Nadu.
The blast occurred during the mixing of chemicals for cracker production, likely triggered by friction, leading to the collapse of three working sheds within the facility.
The affected unit, identified as Sainath Fireworks, is situated in Appaiyanaickenpatti village.
