In his message, the Chief Minister stated that the scheme was more than just a meal—it was the foundation for a stronger tomorrow.
The breakfast program was launched on September 15, 2022, for students of Classes 1 to 5 in government primary schools. With growing support and positive reception, the scheme was expanded in August 2023 to include more government schools, and later in 2024, it reached government-aided schools as well.

- Tuesday: different kinds of kichadi

- Thursday: upma with sambar
- Friday: kichadi varieties
Recently, a government school teacher from Tamil Nadu ate the same breakfast provided to students—rava kichadi and sambar—and recorded his experience in the feedback register. He also shared his review on social media, stating it was excellent.
