Ranchi: In a significant political development, 11 Members of the Legislative Assembly (MLAs), including six from the Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM), were inducted as ministers in the Hemant Soren-led government in Jharkhand on Thursday.
The swearing-in ceremony took place at Ashok Udyan in the Raj Bhavan, where Governor Santosh Kumar Gangwar administered the oath of office and secrecy to the newly appointed ministers.
The six JMM legislators who were sworn in include Sudivya Kumar, Deepak Birua, Ramdas Soren, Chamra Linda, Yogendra Prasad, and Hafijul Hasan. Their inclusion is seen as a step towards strengthening the party’s representation in the state cabinet.
