PRECAM continued to dominate gainers by value and volume, while heavy liquidation was seen in APOLLO and PARADEEP, both leading the loser’s table with high volumes and substantial value turnover. The persistent mixed sentiment highlights sector-specific rebalancing and high intraday volatility as traders positioned themselves ahead of regulatory or macroeconomic triggers.

The 8 September 2025 closing session depicted a cautiously optimistic market mood, marked by strong performance in key gainers and significant corrections in select heavyweights. Volume leaders reflected decisive action from institutional and retail participants, with the NIFTY navigating a positive yet volatile trajectory.
