MNS Being Used to Undermine Uddhav Thackeray’s Shiv Sena: Sanjay Raut

Breaking News

Mumbai: Shiv Sena (UBT) leader and Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Raut has alleged that the Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) is being utilized as a political tool to weaken Uddhav Thackeray’s faction of the Shiv Sena.

Raut’s comments came after BJP leader and Maharashtra minister Ashish Shelar met with MNS chief Raj Thackeray at the latter’s residence earlier in the day. Addressing reporters, Raut claimed, “The BJP wanted an alliance with MNS before the last assembly elections, but Eknath Shinde, then chief minister and ally of the BJP, opposed the idea. Now, MNS is being used as a pawn against Balasaheb Thackeray’s Shiv Sena.”

Raut criticized the BJP for allegedly attempting to fragment opposition parties in Maharashtra ahead of key elections. Raj Thackeray’s MNS, which has had fluctuating political alliances, is likely to play a critical role in the upcoming polls.

This development highlights the ongoing political maneuvers in Maharashtra as rival factions vie for dominance.
