MUMBAI: Bollywood superstar Salman Khan has played a pivotal role in enriching the musical landscape of the recently released film Fateh. The movie, which hit theaters on January 10, 2025, features the soulful track “Heer,” a song that Khan had initially cherished for himself.
Composed by Shabbir Ahmed, “Heer” was created during the lockdown period and immediately resonated with Salman Khan. Ahmed recalls, “Salman Khan liked [the song] a lot. When I played it for Sonu Sood, he was impressed too. I sought Salman Khan’s permission, and he graciously said, ‘No problem, let them have it.'”
