Mumbai: In a heartbreaking incident, a 27-year-old woman lost her life after falling from the 11th floor of her office building at Supreme Business Park in Hiranandani Gardens, Powai. The accident occurred on Thursday while she was preparing for her manager’s birthday celebration.
The victim, identified as Jinal Vora, a resident of Borivali, had stepped near an emergency window in the office pantry during a coffee break. Tragically, she lost her balance and fell to the 10th-floor garden area below, sustaining severe head injuries.
Vora’s colleagues immediately rushed her to Hiranandani Hospital, where doctors tried to save her. Unfortunately, she succumbed to her injuries on Friday morning around 8:00 AM.
Powai police have classified the incident as an accidental death and registered an Accidental Death Report (ADR). No complaints have been lodged, and preliminary investigations suggest there was no foul play involved.
This tragic incident serves as a reminder of the importance of workplace safety and ensuring secure access to emergency exits and windows.
