Coldplay fans in Mumbai can now rejoice as BookMyShow has released additional tickets for the band’s upcoming Music of the Spheres World Tour concerts. The newly available tickets will cover the band’s shows on January 18, 19, and 21 at the DY Patil Stadium in Navi Mumbai. The release of the tickets was announced on Instagram, with sales set to open on January 11 at 4 PM IST exclusively on the BookMyShow app.

While the announcement has excited some fans, it has also left many feeling disappointed and frustrated. Several expressed their dissatisfaction over the late release of the extra tickets, questioning why they weren’t made available earlier. Fans took to social media, with one commenting, “This is what it feels like when you keep going back to an ex, hoping everything would be different this time.” Others voiced concerns over the fairness of the process, given the overwhelming demand and the rapid sell-out of tickets for the initial dates.

Many fans shared their frustration, with one user describing the situation as a “Squid Game – Coldplay Edition,” referring to the intense competition to secure a ticket. Some also criticized the ticketing system, saying that the additional tickets should have been released when the original batch went live to allow better planning for trips.

Coldplay’s return to India will be their first performance in the country since 2016, and they are scheduled to perform five concerts, with shows in Mumbai and Ahmedabad. The Mumbai concerts quickly sold out, prompting the addition of a third show due to high demand.

Fans are eager to witness the band perform their iconic hits such as Yellow, Fix You, and Viva La Vida live once again.
