When Saif intervened to thwart the burglary, he was attacked with a knife, sustaining six injuries. These include two deep wounds, two moderate ones, and two superficial cuts. A piece of the knife was later found in his body during surgery.

Doctors at Lilavati Hospital confirmed that Khan underwent extensive surgery to address his injuries. Fortunately, the wounds did not affect his spine or any vital organs. A hospital source stated, “He was very lucky that the stabs have not impacted any vital areas. He has received 10 stitches for one of the deep injuries.”
Despite the severity of the attack, the actor is now out of danger and under observation. A doctor, speaking anonymously, added, “He is able to move his limbs, which indicates that there is no spinal damage. The family can breathe a sigh of relief.”
