Initially, SSB Odisha announced 1,360 vacancies, later increasing the number to 2,030 by adding 720 additional positions. The exam was conducted in multiple shifts, so the board will normalize the candidates’ scores according to the formula used by the National Testing Agency (NTA) for its own examinations.
After the provisional answer key was released, the board allowed candidates to raise objections regarding the answers up until December 30, 2024. A fee of ₹250 per objection was required. If any objection was deemed valid, the fee would be refunded, minus any applicable bank charges.
The final answer key was published between January 20 and 23, 2025, on the official website.
