Monalisa Bhonsle, a 16-year-old from Indore, Madhya Pradesh, who gained viral fame selling garlands at the Maha Kumbh Mela, is set to make her acting debut. Filmmaker Sanoj Mishra has cast her as the female lead in his upcoming film, “The Diary of Manipur”.

Mishra, known for films like “Ghaznavi” and “Srinagar”, announced that Monalisa will portray the daughter of a retired army officer in this love story. The film’s shooting is scheduled between April and June, with a potential release in October or November this year.

Monalisa’s journey to stardom began when her photos and videos from the Maha Kumbh Mela in Prayagraj went viral, captivating social media users with her striking amber eyes and natural beauty.

Before filming, Monalisa will undergo formal acting training to prepare for her role.
