The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has officially released the Class 10 and Class 12 admit cards for the 2025 board examinations. Schools can now download the admit cards from the Pariksha Sangam portal, accessible through the board’s official website, cbse.gov.in. However, students cannot download their admit cards directly and must collect them from their respective schools.
How Schools Can Download CBSE Admit Card 2025
- Visit cbse.gov.in.
- Navigate to the Pariksha Sangam portal.
- Click ‘Continue’ on the next page.
- Select ‘Schools (Ganga)’ option.
- Go to the ‘Pre-Exam Activities’ tab.
- Click on the ‘Admit Card, Centre Material Link for Main Exam 2025.’
- Enter login credentials to download admit cards.
CBSE Board Exam 2025 Schedule
- Class 10 Exams: February 15 to March 18, 2025
- Class 12 Exams: February 15 to April 4, 2025
Exams for both classes will be conducted in a single shift starting at 10:30 AM.
Approximately 44 lakh students from over 8,000 schools in India and abroad will appear for the 2025 board exams.
Exam Day Guidelines and Items Allowed
The CBSE has issued an official notification regarding exam ethics, dress code, and items permitted inside the exam hall.
Allowed Items:
- For Regular Students: Admit card and school ID card
- For Private Candidates: Admit card and valid government-issued photo ID
- Stationery: Transparent pouch, geometry box, blue/royal blue ink pens, writing pad, eraser, ruler
- Other Items: Analog watch, transparent water bottle, metro card, bus pass, and money
Prohibited Items:
- Textual material (books, notes), calculator, pen drives, log tables (provided at the center), electronic pens
- Mobile phones, Bluetooth devices, smartwatches, cameras, and other communication gadgets
- Wallets, handbags, goggles, and food items (except for diabetic students)
Dress Code for CBSE Board Exam 2025
- Regular Students: Must wear their school uniform
- Private Candidates: Should wear light, comfortable clothes
Students are advised to reach the exam center well before time, as gates will close 60 minutes prior to the exam. Carrying the original Aadhaar card (in color) along with the admit card is mandatory for verification.
