The Commissioner for Entrance Examinations (CEE) Kerala is closing the registration for the Kerala Management Aptitude Test (KMAT) 2025 Session 1 today, February 10, 2025, at 4 PM. Aspiring candidates must submit their applications through the official portal: cee.kerala.gov.in/kmatonline2025/.

Application Fees:

  • General Category: Rss.1,000
  • Scheduled Caste (SC): Rs.500
  • Scheduled Tribe (ST): No fee

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Nationality: Both Indian and non-Indian candidates can apply. However, only Keralite candidates are eligible for reservations and fee concessions.
  • Age Limit: There is no age restriction for KMAT 2025 applicants.
  • Educational Qualification: Applicants should possess a bachelor’s degree of at least three years in fields such as Arts, Science, Engineering, Commerce, Management, or equivalent. Final-year students awaiting results can also apply, provided their results are declared before the commencement of the admission process.

Exam Pattern:

The KMAT 2025 exam comprises 180 multiple-choice questions, totaling 720 marks, covering the following sections:

  1. English Language Usage and Reading Comprehension
  2. Quantitative Aptitude
  3. Data Sufficiency and Logical Reasoning
  4. General Knowledge and Current Affairs

Each correct answer awards four marks, while each incorrect response results in a one-mark deduction. Unanswered questions neither gain nor lose marks.

Qualifying Marks:

  • General/SEBC Candidates: A minimum of 10% of the total marks (i.e., 72 out of 720) is required to qualify.
  • SC/ST/PD Candidates: A minimum of 7.5% of the total marks (i.e., 54 out of 720) is necessary to qualify.

Selection Process:

Post-exam, candidates aiming for MBA admissions in Kerala will undergo:

  • Group Discussion (GD): 10% weightage
  • Personal Interview (PI): 10% weightage

The KMAT entrance test score holds the remaining 80% weightage in the selection process.
