Manipur Chief Minister N Biren Singh has resigned from his position, ending his tenure amid ongoing ethnic violence and internal political challenges. Governor Ajay Bhalla accepted Singh’s resignation but requested him to continue as caretaker chief minister until a successor is appointed.
