For Mumbai, Tesla has reportedly chosen a spot in the Bandra Kurla Complex (BKC), a prominent commercial and retail district close to the city’s airport. Both showrooms are expected to span approximately 5,000 square feet (464.52 square meters) and will primarily serve as spaces for Tesla to sell imported electric vehicles in India. It’s important to note that these locations are intended solely for sales; service centers are not part of the plan at this stage.
Although the exact inauguration dates for these showrooms have not yet been disclosed, sources indicate that Tesla is moving forward with its preparations to introduce its EVs to the Indian market.

The company has posted advertisements for 13 mid-level roles in the country, including positions for store managers and customer relationship managers, indicating that Tesla is readying a workforce to support its operations in both New Delhi and Mumbai.
