The lease agreement, registered on February 14, 2025, indicates a total rental cost of Rs.8.67 crore for a three-year period, equating to an annual rent of Rs.2.9 crore. The combined monthly rent for these duplexes amounts to Rs.24.15 lakh.

The leased apartments are owned by film producer Vashu Bhagnani and his family. One duplex is leased from Bhagnani’s children, actor-producer Jackky Bhagnani and Deepshikha Deshmukh, while the other is directly from Vashu Bhagnani. The agreements required a stamp duty of Rs.2.22 lakh and a registration fee of Rs.2,000.
Renovation Plans for Mannat
The decision to temporarily move stems from Shah Rukh Khan’s plans to expand Mannat. The Maharashtra Coastal Zone Management Authority (MCZMA) has approved the addition of two extra floors to the existing six-storey annexe of the bungalow. This expansion will increase the built-up area by 616 square meters.
