Jalna Police Arrest Self-Styled Godman in Shocking Black Magic Case
JALNA: In a chilling incident, a self-proclaimed godman was arrested for allegedly abetting a man’s suicide and demanding his five-year-old daughter for an occult (black magic) ritual. The Jalna police apprehended the accused, Ganesh Lokhande (45), on March 6 in connection with the death of Dnyaneshwar Aher (30), a resident of Walsa Wadla village in Bhokardan tehsil, according to police sources.

According to police reports, Dnyaneshwar Aher was found dead under suspicious circumstances on March 3. The preliminary investigation revealed that Aher had been under severe mental distress due to harassment by Lokhande. Further inquiries exposed the disturbing demand made by the godman.
