One of her early achievements was creating a robot to assist arecanut farmers, which won recognition at an international conference in Goa.

As she pushed herself further, Rithuparna also joined hands with teams at institutions like NITK Surathkal and took part in the Dakshina Kannada DC Fellowship constantly expanding her knowledge and network.

The Turning Point: A Rolls-Royce Internship

Rithuparna’s curiosity and confidence drove her to reach out to Rolls-Royce for an internship in their Jet Engine Manufacturing Division. At first, the team doubted her capabilities. She was told that completing even one task in a month would be difficult. But her response was calm and determined she asked for a chance.

Given a one-month challenge, she completed it in just one week.

This moment was the breakthrough. She soon began a rigorous eight-month internship with Rolls-Royce starting in January 2025. Despite demanding overnight shifts and her ongoing studies, she excelled handling challenges on par with international standards.

Her performance didn’t go unnoticed. Originally offered a ₹39.6 LPA package, she impressed the team so much that they doubled the offer making it ₹72.3 LPA. She officially received the pre-placement offer in December 2024.

Youngest Woman to Join Rolls-Royce Jet Division

Meet 20-Year-Old Girl Who Failed NEET — Today, at just 20 years old and in her 7th semester of engineering, Rithuparna KS is set to join the Rolls-Royce Jet Engine Division in Texas, USA.
