Mumbai : Actress Monika Singh, known for her role in Tulsi Dham Ke Laddu Gopal, is all set to embrace the festive spirit of Navratri, despite facing some personal challenges. In a recent interview, Monika opened up about how her celebration of the festival has evolved over the years.

While she used to observe Navratri with great enthusiasm—fasting, attending Garba nights, and decorating her home with lights and flowers—health issues have made it difficult for her to continue those rituals. “The essence of Navratri, celebrating the victory of good over evil, remains in my heart. Even though I’m unable to do much physically, I still feel the positive energy and special vibe during these days,” Monika shared.

Reflecting on how special the festival was for her in the past, Monika added, “I used to love everything about Navratri. Fasting, decorating the house, and celebrating with my family brought me so much joy. But now, living with my younger sibling and managing my health has made it harder to follow all the traditions.”

She also mentioned that she no longer keeps a Kalash due to her demanding work schedule. “Like when we bring Ganpati home, keeping a Kalash requires full devotion and care. But with my work commitments, I can’t manage that anymore. Still, I stay connected to the divine energy through prayers,” Monika concluded.

Despite the changes, Monika’s deep connection to the spiritual essence of Navratri remains strong, reminding us that the celebration of faith and positivity transcends physical rituals.
