BJP leader V Muraleedharan has expressed strong confidence that Shaina NC, the Shiv Sena candidate from Mumbadevi, will make a significant impact in the upcoming Maharashtra Assembly elections. Muraleedharan highlighted the substantial progress achieved under the leadership of Chief Minister Eknath Shinde and Deputy CM Devendra Fadnavis in Mumbai and Maharashtra, pointing out that the government’s focus on development will resonate with voters.
In a conversation with ANI, Muraleedharan emphasized, “Shaina is going to make a big impact here. The progress that Mumbai and Maharashtra have made over the past three years will reflect in this election. He further asserted that the BJP-led government has prioritized development in Mumbai, making it the only government with a clear vision for the state’s future.

Muraleedharan also rejected the opposition’s chances, particularly Congress, stating that the people had already rejected the party’s campaigns in previous elections. He noted, “In the Lok Sabha elections, Congress could only secure 100 seats despite heavy campaigning. This time, too, Maharashtra will reject their efforts.”
Shiv Sena has fielded Shaina NC to contest against the incumbent Congress MLA, Amin Patel, who has represented the Mumbadevi seat since 2009. The Mumbadevi constituency is part of Mumbai’s Lok Sabha seat, and Shaina’s candidacy comes as part of a broader strategy by the Shiv Sena (Eknath Shinde faction) in the 2024 Maharashtra elections.
The Maharashtra Assembly elections will occur on November 20, with results scheduled for November 23. The BJP and Shiv Sena coalition, Mahayuti, aims to perform strongly, and Shaina NC is set to play a pivotal role in the Mumbadevi race.
