New Delhi: Launched on September 17, 2025, the “Swasth Nari Sashakt Parivar” Abhiyaan has rapidly evolved into the country’s largest national health outreach, with over 2.83 lakh health camps and more than 76 lakh citizens benefitting nationwide as of September 20, 2025. These camps, spanning from urban hospitals to remote villages, aim to improve women’s, children’s, and family health services through screenings, diagnosis, counselling, and awareness.
National Health Impact and Major Achievements
Key health metrics from the campaign so far include:

Over 37 lakh citizens screened for hypertension and 35 lakh for diabetes.

9 lakh+ women screened for breast cancer and 4.7 lakh+ for cervical cancer; 16 lakh+ for oral cancer.

18 lakh+ antenatal check-ups and 51 lakh+ children immunized.

15 lakh+ people screened for anaemia, with comprehensive nutrition counselling for families.

22 lakh+ citizens screened for TB, and 2.3 lakh+ for Sickle Cell Disease.

1.6 lakh+ blood donors registered and 4.7 lakh new Ayushman/PM-JAY cards issued.
Integrated Care and Wide Institutional Participation
This Abhiyaan’s reach extends across Ayushman Arogya Mandirs, AIIMS, Institutes of National Importance (INIs), medical colleges, private hospitals, and other leading care providers. Over 3,410 specialty health camps from these institutions benefitted another 5.8 lakh citizens, offering advanced screening and diagnosis in partnership with state governments and local health workers.

Ladakh’s camps even reached Lingshed village, offering consultations and menstrual health education.

This Abhiyaan is monitored in real-time via the SASHAKT portal to ensure efficiency and transparency. It is celebrated as a Jan Andolan, with proactive support from central and state ministries, local bodies, private sector, and community organizations. The campaign continues until October 2, 2025, aiming for comprehensive preventive, promotive, and curative healthcare to fortify families and empower women.
