New Delhi: Rashtriya Ayurveda Vidyapeeth (RAV), in partnership with the All India Institute of Ayurveda (AIIA), organized a specialized two-day training programme on Asthi Marma at AIIA, New Delhi. The event was inaugurated by Padma Shri and Padma Bhushan awardee Vaidya Shri Devendra Triguna, President of RAV’s Governing Body, alongside Dr. Mahesh Vyas, Dean of AIIA.

In his inaugural address, Vaidya Shri Devendra Triguna emphasized Ayurveda’s relevance in modern healthcare and underlined the importance of advancing traditional knowledge to meet today’s health challenges. He advocated for specialized training programmes to enhance the clinical proficiency of Ayurveda practitioners and highlighted the significant opportunities available in the field.

The training featured sessions led by renowned experts including Dr. C. Suresh Kumar and Dr. N.V. Sreevaths (CRAV Gurus), Dr. P. Hemantha Kumar (Pro-Vice Chancellor, NIA Jaipur), and Dr. Anandaram Sharma (Professor and Head, Department of Panchakarma, AIIA). Participants benefitted from interactive sessions that integrated theoretical foundations with clinical practice.
Learning Outcomes
The first day provided foundational insights into Asthi Marma principles and their practical applications, building a strong base for hands-on training on subsequent days.
