The 55th International Film Festival of India (IFFI), held in Panaji, Goa, continues to showcase the best of global and Indian cinema. Among the highlights was a session featuring actress Kriti Sanon, where she shared insights into her artistic ambitions. Known for her versatility, the Do Patti star expressed a desire to explore uncharted territories in her career, including roles as a superwoman and a villain.
During her interaction, Kriti said, “There’s no single role I want to stop at. I would love to play a superwoman. India has not extensively explored this genre, and I believe it’s high time. Additionally, I am eager to portray a character with deeper grey shades, as I’ve only touched upon such nuances in my recent work.”

Sanon also expressed a keen interest in featuring in a biopic, underscoring her commitment to challenging roles that push boundaries. The movie, co-starring Kajol and directed by Shashanka Chaturvedi, has already garnered significant attention for its gripping storyline set in a fictional Uttarakhand town.
IFFI 2024, which began on November 20, is hosting over 180 films from 81 countries, including world premieres and special tributes to iconic Indian cinema legends. This vibrant platform continues to celebrate cinema’s evolving narrative, with discussions like Kriti’s adding depth to the festival’s spirit of storytelling.
