The National Cadet Corps (NCC) Republic Day Camp (RDC) 2026 commenced on December 30, 2025, at the Cariappa Parade Ground, Delhi Cantt, with the solemn observance of a Sarv Dharm Pooja, symbolising unity, harmony, and national integration. The month-long camp marks one of the most prestigious annual events of the NCC calendar, bringing together cadets from across India and abroad.
Record Participation from Across India and Abroad
This year’s RDC has witnessed record participation, with a total of 2,406 cadets, including 898 girl cadets, drawn from 28 states and 8 Union Territories, making it the highest participation in the history of the camp.
In addition to Indian cadets, cadets and officers from 25 Friendly Foreign Countries (FFCs) are also participating under the Youth Exchange Programme (YEP), adding an international dimension to the celebrations and fostering cross-cultural understanding.

DG NCC Addresses Cadets
Addressing the cadets on the inaugural day, Lieutenant General Virendra Vats, Director General NCC, welcomed the participants and congratulated them on their selection for the prestigious camp. He urged the cadets to uphold the highest standards of character, integrity, selfless service, comradeship, and teamwork, while transcending barriers of religion, language, and caste, in line with the spirit of ‘Nation First’.
