15 CISF Personnel Booked for Assaulting Doctor and Two Others in Navi Mumbai Road Rage Incident

The doctor filed a complaint at the Kharghar police station, claiming that some of the attackers appeared to be intoxicated and fled the scene after the assault. In a shocking case of road rage, 10 to 15 personnel from the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) have been booked for allegedly assaulting a doctor, his brother, and a friend in Navi Mumbai on November 29, 2024. The incident occurred around 10:15 pm near Utsav Chowk and Central Park, when a CISF bus, ferrying personnel from Mumbai airport to their quarters in Kharghar, came dangerously close to a car driven by the doctor.

The doctor, a local political functionary, pursued the bus to confront the driver about the reckless driving. An argument ensued, and within moments, five to six CISF personnel exited the bus and reportedly assaulted the doctor. The altercation escalated when the personnel allegedly also attacked the doctor’s brother and friend, and damaged the windshield of the car.
