Ahmedabad: Prime Minister Narendra Modi emphasized the importance of engaging the youth in politics to ensure a brighter future for India. During his virtual address at an event organized by Ramkrishna Math in Lekhamba village near Sanand, he asserted that politics should not remain confined to those promoting dynasty rule as a form of family entitlement.
PM Modi shared that initiatives are being rolled out to actively involve young leaders in the political process. He revealed plans to host the Young Leaders’ Dialogue in Delhi on Swami Vivekananda’s birth anniversary as a step toward encouraging this shift and fostering leadership among the youth.
Highlighting Swami Vivekananda’s contributions, PM Modi recalled his advocacy for youth involvement in national development and the transformative power of their active participation. “Youth will play a pivotal role in shaping the country’s future. Their ideas, energy, and spirit are essential for progress,” said the PM.
The initiative seeks to inspire and equip young individuals to take on political leadership roles, breaking away from traditional constraints like dynasty-based governance and ushering in a new era of innovation and progress.
