Badminton champion PV Sindhu has tied the knot with Venkat Datta in a beautiful and intimate ceremony in Udaipur. The newlyweds shared their first photo as a married couple, which was posted by Union Minister of Culture and Tourism, Gajendra Singh Shekhawat, who also expressed his blessings for the couple’s future together.
For her wedding day, Sindhu stunned in a golden silk saree, a departure from the usual lehenga. The saree featured intricate sequin embellishments and zari detailing, with a heavy golden border adding a touch of royalty. She paired the saree with a matching embellished blouse and completed her bridal ensemble with a delicately draped dupatta over her head. Sindhu accessorized with traditional jewelry, including a diamond-studded maang tikka, statement earrings, stacked bangles, and a bejeweled ring bracelet. Her makeup was fresh, and her hair was styled in a classic bun, enhancing her graceful appearance.
The groom, Venkat Datta, complemented his bride’s elegance with a golden sherwani, finely embroidered with intricate zari work. He completed his regal look with matching pants and a dupatta.
The ceremony was a private affair, attended by close friends and family. The couple is now looking forward to their upcoming wedding reception, where they plan to host notable guests such as cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar and Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
