New Delhi: On Wednesday, President Droupadi Murmu and Prime Minister Narendra Modi led a heartfelt prayer ceremony at the memorial of former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee, ‘Sadaiv Atal’, to mark his birth centenary. The ceremony brought together a host of dignitaries, political leaders, and members of Vajpayee’s family, all gathered to honor the life and legacy of the BJP stalwart.
Union Home Minister Amit Shah, BJP President J.P. Nadda, and several other prominent figures were in attendance. Among them were Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu, along with Union Ministers Lalan Singh (JD(U)) and Jitam Ram Manjhi (HAM(S)). They were joined by Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar, Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla, and members of Vajpayee’s adopted family, all of whom paid their respects at the memorial.
