Filmmaker Boney Kapoor, along with Bayview Projects, a firm backed by Bhutani Infra, has submitted the master plan for the first phase of the much-awaited Noida International Film City project. This ambitious venture aims to transform Noida into a prominent hub for the Indian film and entertainment industry.
The master plan was presented to the Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA) on Tuesday, marking a significant step forward for the project. Kapoor expressed optimism about the project’s completion, stating that the first phase is expected to be finished within three years, pending the necessary approvals.
Arun Vir Singh, CEO of YEIDA, confirmed the receipt of the plan and assured that the authority would strive for a swift approval process. He emphasized that the plan would be reviewed to ensure it aligns with all required norms and guidelines before moving forward.
The Noida International Film City, once completed, is set to offer state-of-the-art infrastructure for film production, along with facilities for entertainment, tourism, and commercial ventures. The project is expected to boost Noida’s economy and provide ample opportunities for employment, particularly in the media and entertainment sectors.
With the master plan now under review, the Noida Film City is one step closer to becoming a reality, marking a new chapter in India’s film industry landscape.
