Bhavnagar, Gujarat: Union Minister for Railways, Shri Ashwini Vaishnaw, visited Aawadkrupa Plastomech Pvt. Ltd., a leading container manufacturing company in Bhavnagar, Gujarat. Accompanied by Union Minister Dr. Mansukhbhai Mandaviya and Minister of State Smt. Nimuben Bambhaniya, the visit underlined the government’s growing focus on strengthening India’s manufacturing capabilities and making Bhavnagar a prominent player in the global container supply chain.

During his visit, Shri Ashwini Vaishnaw conducted a detailed inspection of the container production process at the company’s Navagam facility on the Bhavnagar–Rajkot Road. He reviewed the technology, production line, quality standards, and capacity of the unit, which currently manufactures around 15 containers per day, with the infrastructure already in place to scale up to 100 containers daily.

The Railway Minister offered strategic suggestions for process optimization and assured full governmental support to help the company meet the rising global demand for containers, particularly for logistics and cargo solutions in the post-pandemic trade era. His remarks emphasized aligning India’s manufacturing capacity with the goals of Make in India and Atmanirbhar Bharat.

The visit marks a significant step toward the transformation of Bhavnagar into a container manufacturing and logistics hub. With rising global container shortages and India’s increasing role in international trade, companies like Aawadkrupa Plastomech Pvt.
