The controversy surrounding the Pushpa 2 stampede incident escalated when a group of protesters vandalized Allu Arjun’s residence in Hyderabad on Sunday. The protestors, upset over the tragic stampede at the Sandhya Theatre, accused the actor of failing to address the victim’s family’s needs. They pelted stones and tomatoes at the house, broke flower pots, and demanded justice.

In response to the incident, Allu Arjun’s home in the upscale Jubilee Hills area was covered with large white sheets and curtains on Tuesday. This move came after the actor’s residence became a focal point of protest. To prevent further disturbances, additional police forces were stationed nearby.

The incident took place on December 4, when Allu Arjun and his Pushpa 2 co-star, Rashmika Mandanna, visited the Sandhya Theatre in Hyderabad. The crowd’s overwhelming excitement led to a stampede, which tragically resulted in the death of a woman and left her young son critically injured.

Following the incident, Allu Arjun appeared before the Hyderabad Police on Tuesday for questioning. He was summoned as part of the investigation into the tragic event. Meanwhile, the producers of Pushpa 2, Naveen Yerneni and Ravi Shankar, donated ₹50 lakh to the victim’s family as a gesture of support.
