Arvind Kejriwal Predicts AAP’s Performance in Delhi Assembly Elections 2025

The election campaign has been marked by high-octane rallies, political jibes, and intense debates among the major parties.

Breaking News

As the Delhi Assembly elections approach, scheduled for February 5, 2025, Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Arvind Kejriwal has expressed optimism about his party’s prospects. He anticipates that AAP could secure up to 55 out of the 70 seats in the Delhi Assembly. However, Kejriwal believes that if women voters actively participate and encourage male family members to vote for AAP, the party’s seat count could exceed 60.

During a roadshow in the Kalkaji assembly constituency, Kejriwal appealed to women voters, urging them to persuade the men in their households to support AAP. He emphasized that the party’s focus on welfare and development would benefit all citizens, particularly women.

In the 2020 Delhi Assembly elections, AAP secured 62 seats, while the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) won 8 seats, and the Indian National Congress (INC) failed to win any seats. AAP’s performance in the upcoming elections will be closely watched, as the party aims to maintain its dominance in Delhi’s political landscape.

The election campaign has been marked by high-octane rallies, political jibes, and intense debates among the major parties. The Model Code of Conduct mandated by the Election Commission requires all public meetings and campaigning to cease 48 hours before polling, which concluded on February 3, 2025.

The results of the Delhi Assembly elections are scheduled to be announced on February 8, 2025. The outcome will determine the future direction of Delhi’s governance and the political fortunes of the key parties involved.
