New Delhi: The Rashtriya Ayurveda Vidyapeeth (RAV), an autonomous body under the Ministry of Ayush, successfully concluded its 30th National Seminar titled “Management of Illness & Wellness in Paediatrics through Ayurveda” held on August 18–19, 2025, at the Scope Complex Auditorium, New Delhi. The two-day seminar brought together over 500 participants, including Ayurveda scholars, researchers, practitioners, and students from across India to deliberate on the holistic management of paediatric health through Ayurveda.


Emphasizing Ayurveda’s Role in Child Healthcare

In his valedictory address conveyed through a written message, Union Minister Shri Prataprao Jadhav emphasized Ayurveda’s unique potential in transforming child healthcare. He highlighted the Kaumarbhritya branch as a comprehensive approach involving preventive, promotive, and curative care to foster “Swasth Balak, Swasth Bharat” (Healthy Child, Healthy India). Shri Jadhav underlined that the seminar’s outcomes would strengthen the country’s paediatric healthcare framework and inspire new research collaborations and practical healthcare models.
