Beginning his speech with a direct attack, Stalin said the “BJP is dividing people” under the pretense of religious protection, while real issues like unemployment, inflation, and insufficient funding to the state are conveniently ignored. “They are not concerned about people’s livelihoods,” he stated. The Chief Minister alleged that the BJP’s repeated attempts to polarise Tamil Nadu have failed in the past, and now they are roping in AIADMK to support their agenda.

At the event, Stalin inaugurated 90 completed projects worth ₹174.39 crore, laid the foundation for 60 new developments estimated at ₹68.76 crore, and distributed welfare assistance worth ₹273.83 crore to over 1 lakh beneficiaries. But beyond the developmental efforts, the CM made it clear that he saw a political battle on the horizon, where “faith” was being distorted into a divisive tool.
