Blake Lively has filed a lawsuit against her It Ends With Us co-star and director, Justin Baldoni, accusing him of sexual harassment and a deliberate campaign to damage her reputation. The legal action, revealed by TMZ, contains serious allegations, including claims of sexual misconduct and a coordinated effort to undermine her public image.
According to court documents obtained by TMZ, tensions between Lively and Baldoni escalated during the filming of the movie, leading to a meeting attended by Lively’s husband, Ryan Reynolds, to address the toxic work environment. The lawsuit outlines several demands for change, including a ban on Baldoni showing nude videos or images to Lively, any further discussion of his alleged pornography addiction, or any mentions of his sexual exploits in front of Lively and the crew. Additional grievances mentioned in the suit include inquiries about Lively’s weight and the inappropriate references to her late father.
Furthermore, Lively alleges that Baldoni orchestrated a “social manipulation” campaign to tarnish her reputation, causing significant harm to her career and family, as well as emotional distress.
In response, Baldoni’s legal team has rejected the accusations, labeling them as false and suggesting that the lawsuit is an attempt by Lively to capitalize on negative media attention.
It Ends With Us, which garnered attention earlier this year, was marked by speculation of a rift between Lively and Baldoni. Tensions appeared to be evident when the two stars attended the film’s premiere separately, and a noticeable lack of social media interactions between them fueled rumors of discord.
