Mumbai: Bhushan Gagrani, the Chief of the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC), has called on Mumbaikars to actively participate in the ongoing Maharashtra Assembly elections by casting their votes. Gagrani assured voters that all polling booths in the city are well-equipped with necessary facilities to ensure a smooth voting experience.
Polling for all 288 assembly constituencies in Maharashtra, including Mumbai, began at 7:00 AM and will continue until 6:00 PM.
After casting his vote at KC College near Churchgate station in South Mumbai, the senior IAS officer urged citizens to come out in large numbers and engage in the democratic process. His appeal comes as part of efforts to encourage maximum voter turnout for the critical state elections.
