BIHAR: The Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) conducted a re-examination for the 70th Combined Competitive Examination (CCE) on January 4, 2025, at the Bapu Examination Complex in Patna. This decision followed the cancellation of the initial exam on December 13, 2024, due to allegations of a question paper leak.
Approximately 12,000 candidates were scheduled to sit for the re-exam, which took place from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM. The BPSC implemented stringent security measures to ensure the examination’s integrity, including thorough frisking and surveillance at the examination center.
BPSC Examination Controller Rajesh Kumar Singh emphasized that the re-examination was limited to the Bapu Examination Complex. He stated that there was no basis for a statewide re-exam, as no substantial evidence of irregularities was found at other centers.
Candidates who appeared for the re-exam can expect the results to be announced in the coming weeks. They are advised to regularly check the official BPSC website for updates and further information regarding the selection process.
