Laxman Utekar’s historical action film Chhaava, starring Vicky Kaushal and Rashmika Mandanna, has been making waves at the box office since its release. The film’s performance only strengthened over the weekend, with collections soaring to Rs.37 crore on Saturday and Rs.48.5 crore on Sunday. However, on Monday, the film saw a slight dip, bringing in Rs.24 crore on its first working day, pushing its four-day total to Rs.140.50 crore.
Despite the dip, Chhaava has already become one of the highest-grossing films of 2025, and its strong opening performance indicates it has a bright future at the box office.

“Playing such a historical figure requires a lot of discipline, and discipline is tough. If you are not used to it, it becomes very challenging,” Vicky said. “It’s not just a one-month commitment, it’s a commitment that lasts for one and a half to two years. I’m just happy to say that this is the toughest role I’ve played till date.”
