A 19-year-old influencer from Janjgir Champa district died by suicide on Thursday while live-streaming on Instagram. At least 21 followers witnessed the heartbreaking event, but were unable to intervene in time to save her.

The young woman, who had been struggling with heartbreak, is believed to have been deeply affected by emotional distress. Her parents, who reside in Hyderabad, are in shock and unable to provide additional details. Reports suggest that she had been particularly active on social media, regularly posting videos and reels that gained significant attention.

During the live stream, some of her followers attempted to help, with a few locals rushing to her home in Nawagarh, located about 150 km from Raipur. However, they found the door locked. By the time neighbors managed to break in and reach her room, it was too late. She was declared dead by doctors at a nearby health center.

Authorities are now examining her phone to understand her mental state leading up to the tragic event. Some followers, feeling helpless, expressed their frustration at not knowing how to reach her. One follower even attempted to call her but could not connect.
