The much-anticipated film Daaku Maharaaj, starring Nandamuri Balakrishna and Bobby Deol, made an impressive debut at the box office. According to early estimates by Sacnilk.com, the action-packed drama grossed over Rs.22 crore nett on its opening day. The film, which opened across various languages, saw an overall occupancy of 65.92% in Telugu on Sunday.

Directed by Bobby Kolli, Daaku Maharaaj features an ensemble cast, including Urvashi Rautela, Pragya Jaiswal, Shraddha Srinath, and Chandhini Chowdary. The story revolves around Balakrishna’s portrayal of a dacoit known as ‘Daaku Maharaaj,’ who forms an emotional bond with a young girl. Bobby Deol plays the antagonist who inflicts suffering on the people.

The film, produced by Suryadevara Naga Vamsi and Sai Soujanya, has music by S Thaman. It was released in theaters on January 12.
