A doctor was discovered dead in his Delhi residence on Thursday, with a deep cut wound on his neck, police reported. Authorities have detained a 23-year-old suspect, Sunny Sharma, a dietician by profession, in connection with the case.
According to DCP South Ankit Chauhan, police received a PCR call alerting them about a body lying in a house located in the Chattarpur Enclave area of South Delhi. Upon reaching the scene, officers found the doctor’s lifeless body with a significant neck injury.
The police immediately began their investigation, and Sunny Sharma was detained for questioning. While the exact circumstances surrounding the doctor’s death remain unclear, authorities are focusing their inquiries on Sharma’s possible involvement.
