MADRID: External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar met with Spanish President Pedro Sanchez on Tuesday, where he reaffirmed the “long-standing” and robust bilateral relationship between India and Spain. Jaishankar, who arrived in Spain on Monday, is on a two-day official visit – his first trip to the country as India’s External Affairs Minister.
During the meeting, Jaishankar provided an update on the progress of bilateral cooperation in various areas, including trade, investment, and people-to-people ties. The visit underscores the growing importance of the India-Spain partnership in global geopolitics and regional security.
